Process #

  1. Dice the bacon.
  2. Cook the bacon in a pot.
  3. Drain and reserve the bacon.
  4. Return the bacon fat to the pot.
  5. Add the butter, diced onion, paprika, cayenne, garlic, and black pepper.
  6. Cook until the onion softens.
  7. Add the flour.
  8. Cook the flour mixture briefly.
  9. Add the water and chicken base.
  10. Add the broccoli and carrot.
  11. Cook for about 20 min, or until the vegetables are tender.
  12. Add the bacon and heavy cream.
  13. Add the cheddar a little at a time.
  14. Stir until the cheese melts.
  15. Add the nutmeg.

  • Use 8105 as the maximum.
