- 1.In a saucepan, bring the sugar and water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- 2.Add the nuts and stir to coat evenly.
- 3.Lower to medium heat and stir continuously as the nuts go through the process of crystallizing and then caramelizing; watching carefully to avoid burning.
- 4.Stir in the salt.
- 5.Once caramelized, spread the nuts onto a silicone baking mat.
- 6.Separate the nuts while still warm.
