- 1.Sift the dry ingredients and set aside. Pour any bits of grain that may remain in the sifter back into the rest of the sifted dry ingredients.
- 2.In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugars.
- 3.Gradually add the eggs, followed by the extract, scraping down the bowl as necessary.
- 4.Add the sifted dry ingredients and mix until barely combined.
- 5.Add the chocolate chips and mix until evenly combined, scraping down the bowl as necessary.
- 6.Bake at 300°F (149°C).
