Prep Method 8
- 1.Sift the dry ingredients. Toss the grapes with a little of the sifted dry ingredient mixture to coat; set aside.
- 2.In a mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, mix the butter, sugar, and zests until light and fluffy.
- 3.Add the eggs one at a time, scraping down the bowl as necessary.
- 4.Combine the liquid ingredients. Alternately mix the dry and wet ingredients into the creamed butter mixture until smooth.
- 5.Distribute the batter into prepared loaf pans.
- 6.Sprinkle the grapes over the batter.
- 7.Bake at 350ºF (177ºC) until the top of the cakes are set.
- 8.Dot the top of the cakes with a little additional butter and granulated or vanilla sugar. Continue baking until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
